I've heard a ridiculous amount of good things about this, glad to see it lives up to the hype. Good review, will get this album.

I’ll admit, from the moment I read that Fang Island described their own music as “everyone high-fiving everyone”, I was sold

its one of those really short, really fun albums that you put on for a good time and dont really expect more of, if you get what i mean by that. it wont change your life but its good while it lasts.
thanks btw!

i just downloaded the new joanna newsom record and this, so i'll spin it after i'm done with joanna newsom; also, if the rest of the record is as good as the first song, then this might just be a 5.

Maybe it's just because I'm a fan of Sargent House on facebook, haha. But it's been getting a shitload of super positive reviews, and people have been calling it AOTY.

idk if you count the number of letters in 'fang island - fang island' and then minus that number by nine, because thats the name of that movie starring daniel-day lewis and he rules, you get 11, which is exactly the number of letters in 'jesus christ'.
spooky.

this is awesome fun, could be my go-to happy-times record of '10, but something tells me it might wear off fairly quickly. i hope not though.

It is very similar to fun. last year. It's a happy, joyous record that surprisingly doesn't wear off too fast. It's the perfect amount of sweet.

but fun. sucks, and is more indie pop. Maybe they have the same emotional feel, but this is more of an experimental/math rock sort of thing. Best record the year. No doubt this band will become more popular.

Damnit, those RISD kids have some nerve, having good band after good band pop out of their university.
that's why I fucking know this!! Album has been bugging the hell out of me since yesterday, I couldn't put my finger on as to why, but Ive heard this all already haha.
and like 90% of RISD bands suck.
