i hope their new material doesnt wear off as quickly as this did.

Yeah this albums pretty dif but overall it's good. The album has the same Arsis signature, but the atmosphere i'd say is a bit more aggressive and a bit hardcore sounding even, it may even appeal to fans of older music and broaden their fan base.

Some songs were more or less meh but some stood up to scrutiny. Notable songs are Forced to Rock, The Ten of Swords, Escape Artist and Beyond Forlorn. I'd give Escape Artist a try to get a sense of the album. There's this repeated harmonized riff that keeps coming back in the song that seems reminiscent of the album title. Yeah.
