Actually the best deathcore I've heard so far was Despised Icon's Day of Mourning, the very band that ironically got me to hate Deathcore in the first place because of the silly overuse of palm-muting, breakdowns and the pig squeals which I don't tolerate. But DoM was so good. Then I moved on to The Acacia Strain (I only like Wormwood, Continent is worse). So I guess it's time to check on those REALLY good bands like The Red Chord or Glass Casket. One thing: do they squeal?

I have checked them both out, extensively. Too good to be deathcore.
This album on the other hand is fairly enjoyable from the three songs I've heard of it. Looks like my brain is devolving into liking shit.

This vocalist is a pretty cool guy, he stopped touring so he could be home and be a father to his child. The rest of the band went on hiatus so he wouldnt miss anything.
