also the Kamasi Washington album has 17 songs which makes it easier to digest in my mind. 69 seperate musical ideas sounds like too much to me, but I'll still give it a listen because I should find some excellent songs even if I can't get through the whole thing

boy was I shocked when I discovered it was literal.

um wat just listen to the album, it's a bunch of simple pop songs with funny lyrics. why are people talking like this is 'too much', as if releasing three similar albums at once is too much to handle compared to three different albums. no one is asking you to listen to all songs at once.

disc 1 was definitely the best. i kinda wish this was like 20 love songs and they picked the best tracks because overall its a drag and theres loads of filler... but damn those 20 songs would be so great.

How is it 5 discs with only 50 songs? (Given that their songs are usually 2-3 min. long).

I would really like to believe in the album but it's hard considering the disappointingquality of their post-69 stuff.
