It's just that the chugging here is...for lack of a better word...stupid. It just seems that they resorted to chugging in some songs out of laziness, where as on The Shrouded Divine there was almost no chugging; there were awesome groovy riffs instead. I still enjoyed this a lot (granted I only listened to it once) but this at first this just seems a bit lifeless when compared to TSD.

ok...ya. This kinda ended up being a Gorod. The first song is badass, then the rest...meh.

someguest got it right. This is like a version 2 of Shrouded. maybe the bands sound just got boring.

Why are you complaining about the chugging on this album when the last album was chug, slow section, repeat as well?

First song was perfectly enjoyable. Album will at least be worth a listen

Definately a step down from Shrouded Divine. I'll need more listens before i decide just how big of a step down. The guitars just don't seem to work together as well on here. On Shrouded Divine you could often hear all three guitars and each was adding its own something to the riff. Also, like bodom said, the chugging just doesn't feel as inspied.

Alright, I edited the review. I think Cocaine was right for the most part. Anyway, I apologize if this upsets anyone; it seems I jumped the gun a bit. I still really like it though.

Also the fact that they say "Fuck" numerous times in the album makes it feel childish and silly,

Picked up one of them in track 7. So far album is great albeit, underwhelming.

Haha I know it looks like I'm changing it because other people don't like it as much, but the fact is, I should have given this more time. My first impression was awesome, but its gone down like Cocaine said it might :/ I won't pull a one day review again. I'm sorry. However, now that this has had like 11-12 listens, I think my view is way more concrete.

I hate that this makes me seem so inconsistent. Like I said, it's not happening again. I guess people might neg this now or something. Sorry guys :/

Its not as bad as everyone is saying it is imo. Its pretty great, defo not better than the debut tho, looking like a 3.5 for me.

Yeah, I definitely still like it a lot, and I still believe its an improvement on their debut.
