Vessels, Disciples and the last 3 are good, but this really is a disappointment.

I just got this. Finishing up part I right now, and it's pretty good. I agree that the flow is a little messy, but I don't see how this could possibly be a full 3 points lower than Mabool.

I've given this 8+ listens, hoping my opinion would change. Nothing stands out as amazing, nor are there any solos that just blow my mind.



I've mentioned I thought 5 of them were good (not great). 5 good songs out of 15 is a bad thing.



Still excited to see these guys live in March though.

Yeah it's long, but I don't have a problem with it. The problem that I do have with it is the useless chugging riffs that occur more often than not. I still firmly believe that if they took almost all of the chuggy metal parts out of their repertoire they could be my favorite band. The Middle Eastern influences are still present, and I'm not talking about just singing in Hebrew and Arabic.

my god, this really does suck. I was hopin' I'd like it, but compared to Mabool this is plain shitty pretentious prog. I'll listen to it maybe 2 or 3 times more, and then decide whether or not it can go above a 1.5 for me.

I'm pretty fond of Mabool, so I'm somewhat saddened to read this review. At least it was really well-written.
