I kind of disagree with the line of argument in the review, this clicked with me on first listen. I mean, if you're not used to mathsy instrumentation then sure it might be a little hard to digest, but even then its far more digestible than most math rock out there given the lyrical elements and indie rock sensibilities. I only bring this up because I think it was this review that put me off checking the whole thing a while back as I didn't have time or energy for a tricky listen at that moment; its a shame I didn't check this earlier
