Yeah I always used to just toss random albums in that section really. Like the Resurrection one a ton. Never jam From Beyond anymore tbh

lol idk why that was funny. yeah i saw the bleeding and i was like ??
from beyond rules and was an early dm jam for me and tbh the bleeding rocks despite its normster status but none of em sound like this. but in my reviews i had dumbfuck ass recs a lot of times, like if it was metal i put it in

I typically just throw an album or two I want people to hear there or some that are fairly popular in hopes people will see them and jam the album off of that. Feel like normally my reviews don't bring any new listeners so that was my technique at least back then. Now I just don't really care tbh

That's actually not a bad idea lol. I always figured since there's a pretty big userbase here that I could get some listeners onto unknown albums moreso than the website I was doing but it seems unless there's already some kind of following here those reviews just die unnoticed. I know with the site i'd have people hit me up saying they discovered stuff from it. Just too lazy to keep it going though lol

Changed them recs for you guys. I've never heard Eternal Dirge but it looks right up my alley. Need to give that Chemical Breath another spin too and check the second album. Reminded me I need to go back and jam Accidental Suicide too. Found this and all those albums around the same time. The deep dive I did on death metal in my teens was good times. Remember when you could find shit that cost like $100 now on Amazon for a few bucks lol

Agreed Monstrosity rules. The most I've spent on a CD is $50 and even that seemed like way too much tbh. I remember when all the obscure death metal stuff shot up in price and I was pretty bummed about it because being young at the time I still had a ton I wanted to snag lol. And it's all good on the rec part. Honestly I've always been kind of ass at that feature here. I never listen to an album thinking about other albums that are similar. I'm a tunnel vision kinda guy
