Find My Way is the best song off their s/t. agreed. Excecute The Sounds comes as a close second.

The album title seems redundant. What hits have they had since Atlantic dumped them? Anyway, good review despite the inflated rating ;) "Youth of a Nation" is still listenable from time to time.

The album title seems redundant. What hits have they had since Atlantic dumped them? well they have only released one album after leaving Atlantic. Give them time brah ;). Anyway, good review despite the inflated rating ;) yeah i was planning this review for a while now. Finally did it during the weekend. And yes, i am thoroughly happy with the rating i gave this album."Youth of a Nation" is still listenable from time to time. sure you didn't mean Youth is still an amazing listen from time to time ;)?

It's good. It's probably their best song and it's a nu metal song that can be played now without making people break into laughter.

It's probably their best song and it's a nu metal song that can be played now without making people break into laughter. i think that that rule more applies to sputnik rather than everyday life. Seriously, i think that when you are blasting some Korn or Static X or Dope or whatnot out on the street (i have done it with Dope btw myself :D) then the people out there won't really burst out laughing.

That depends. There are some good Korn songs, but there are some really bad ones that aren't meant to be funny but are anyway. I never really considered Static X nu metal. They got lumped into that genre in order to sell more albums, but they've always had more in common with Ministry than Limp Bizkit.... oh, and never bothered with Dope.

hey dude you need Dope's latest, it fucking rules and it's not very nu anymore either. Surprisngly there are lots of guitar solos on it and the songs are way more diverse than your average nu mteal/alt metal band can offer.
Also yeah, just remembered that my classmate has got Twist by Korn as his ringtone. His phone started ringing in the class and yeah, other people were all WTF IS THAT SHIT. On the other hand, Twist really isn't a "song" per se. i think that casual people won't think of you weirdly when you are blasting some nu metal though in general. Believe it or not, nu metal actually sounds fresh to some thanks to that mainstream BS that comes from everywhere today.

Maybe in Estonia where it's still cool to weeze the juice, but here nu metal doesn't sound fresh to anyone (at all - I checked).

Going in Blind is arguably their best song.

Going In Blind fucking owns. I have no idea why they haven't included that song on any of their other albums.

I didn't think POD were ever that big in the Nu-Metal genre, personally
|
| |
Good thing you said personally
|
| |
pod wasn't that important. 1 hit wonders pretty much.
|
| |
Can't agree with 1 hit wonders
|
| |
They had hits off at least 3 albums. Therefore =/= one hit wonders.
