Got really boring, really fast.

Agreed, unfortunately. Still nothing but love for this band.

Yeah, after a while this loses some of it's luster, but still a great album.

Good album, but I have to agree with everyone else. It is good but not very memorable.

Wow. I just found out why crappy albums like this make their way into the charts: Users who think an album is "good" rate it a 3.5+. I mean, cmon, look at what it says next to the number 3 - good. Good. That means you think the album was good. Don't rate something 4 stars and then turn around and say it is not very memorable..ergh...

Huh, I actually thought I had this rated a 4, must have forgotten to lower it. I stand by my review, although not necessarily by it's rating. The lackluster thing was noticeable after many listens so it wasn't included in a review written for the album's release. I could edit it now saying how after a while the album looses it's luster, but meh, review is correct otherwise. Of course, we have different opinions on the album and that is normal.

And take it easy man, each user has his personal way of rating albums, not only taking into account the 'word' next to the number. The word is more of a guideline anyways not a law.

luv this band (have the tat to prove it) and while this is a great album... it really isn't as memorable as I hoped after multiple, multiple listens... i mean there are some def classic songs on here such as "vanity" and "andy warhol" but as the reviewer (good review BTW) pointed out... SO isn't really evolving anymore and while some are ok with that as they are getting older and what they've done...yatta yatta...I feel they've really exhausted their punk-base and need to play up their more metal side now song structure-wise (I thought they were going that way with EOSD and then onto EIO but...) not just elments of metal in a punk song... it'd really be the next step for this band.

Oh, and just to clarify... Rise Against, AWS, etc... owe pretty much everything to SO...

I have listened to this record hundreds of times and I am still not tired of it. Stylistically there is nothing new on this record compared to previous efforts, but it is a refinement of all that makes Strung Out a great band to listen to. I still can't get enough of Black Crosses, The Fever and the Sound, Heart Attack, Jack Knife and Andy Warhol.

Yeah I think this is less diverse than other SO albums, but still excellent.

This is fantastic. Besides the lame tracks 4 - 6 it is complete ruleage.

Album's definitely not their best but great

I'd like to see a really dark, crazy hard/fast album that pushes their abilities to the limit, then hang it up just to go out on top. Propagandhi (a band around just as long as Strung Out) and AWS are - let's be serious - the only two punkish bands putting out albums of high caliber these days and both are pushing hard in an aggressive/technical direction and putting out their best material, while Strung Out haven't really evolved since Exile In Oblivion musically.
