I've never used that box to actually write my reviews but I kind of understand what you mean because once I publish the review and read it on the site, things always come up that I missed on Word.

Even though i absolutely love the debut, this one is bloated, overfed, forced... still gonna buy it though.

An ultimately emotionless album with cliche vocal styles

Why does every album have to have emotion? Also, how many bands out there have totally unique vocal styles? Basically, what's your point?

Willie, I think he (or at least I do) meant that the emotion put into this album in the process of making it is near 0. Sure the music itself doesn't have to have emotion always, but it seems this album was just kind of done like " hey we should record something, not really up to it atm but the date's here so I guess we should do it anyway.

With this kind of music, how is it possible to put emotion into a song that is basically going to be emotionless.

ughh I am too torpid to fully explain atm but hell I'll try anyway. Imo you just can't make a great album if you don't feel like making a one. Without any emotion-effort it just doesn't come out good. This like here sounds like machinery, like it was made by robots. The drumming is a good example of this.

It's industrial tinged, it's supposed to sound that way.
And the album's called Bringer of Plagues, what do plagues do?
Screaming in anger is an emotion buddy

The singing is emotionless that was my problem with it. It sounds as though there was no attempt to even make it seem like he was motivated to sing.

In your review you labeled this band Metalcore. How? Why? What?

I just see hints of metalcore in it, I wasn't trying to pigeonhold them or anything, it surely has some industrial feel and blends many genres, but I felt the dominant genre was metalcore at the time, couldn't tell you my particular reason off the top of my head due to the fact that I haven't listened to this since the day I posted that review.

I think the only thing that makes them metalcore in any regard is the vocalist, the rest is more melodic death metal with heavy industrial influences.
But then again, proper death metal vocals probably wouldn't fit either, maybe i'm wrong though.
