The worst thing about Born Of Osiris is their merch. Those stupid I *HEART* MY BOO shirts are so STUPID.
That being said, I do like their music. DGAF. "Bow Down" is such a good song. The drums on that track are so tastyyyy.
Also, I could see the ending of "Now Arise" being outrageously awesome live if the crowd knew the words.
EDIT: So, I'm listening to this album again, and I really don't like it nearly as much as The New Reign. Just found TNR to be way more interesting. Rating lowered to 3.0. (Still definitely better than a 2.0, imo).

I think they are really going to have to work to make their next album better. To me it just seems like they got lazy and made a repetitive album. The songs are good but that's because they are all so similar. It gets boring even though I try to be entertained. I have to force myself to listen to them on this album whereas on TNR I enjoyed absolutely every secons of it.
Hopefully their next album is TNR kinda material.

I do not agree with the review. Granted that it is your opinion, genericnamelol, I don't feel that you were listening. Judging by the excessive keyboard remarks and the remarks about there being breakdowns in every song, I would say that you didn't try to listen. There are maybe one or two breakdowns in this whole album (I'm not even going to argue this point because it's the truth). The keyboards do not have even one solo on this whole album and are mainly used for background effects (also the truth, get over it). All in all, breakdowns and keyboard solos are mainly what The New Reign consisted of and if this album barely has those things in it I don't see how you could possibly say that they didn't change at all. Most of the keyboard parts were replaced with melodic riffs and the constant breakdowns were replaced with the driving, pumping riffs that you can blatantly hear throughout the album. You don't have to like this band but you shouldn't be reviewing them if all you're going to say is negative things. Honestly, it just comes off as if you wrote the review to piss people off. That's my opinion

I agree with genericnamelol. I try to like them, but it's like they don't want me to like them. I give them a try and always come out saying "that really wasn't good". I would rate this, but I try not to rate bands I don't listen to.
