I don't like the slow build ups resulting in huge walls of distortion that the middle albums use. It's been quite a while since I've even bothered to listen to those albums (that's why they're not rated).

yeah, it's not easy to squeeze it in, although that can be said for most of their albums. the ones that are easiest for me to pop on and get some enjoyment out of a few tracks (when I don't have the time to listen all the way through) are this one and the most recent two (the last two because the first couple of songs just own).

yeah, Enemy of the Sun did get noisier and a bit more atmospheric but it still had more in common with Souls at Zero. I liked the samples and the violins and that kind of thing that those two albums used a lot of.
