I don't know. It just hits all the right notes for me for whatever reason. I love it. Actually giving this whole album another spin right now. Never really noticed that huge fucking breakdown at the end of Broken Stars before. It was awesome.
Me too. I will be picking it up when it drops along with FFAF. Tuesday will be a good day.

Now that would be a pretty sweet title to have! lol, it is one of my favorite genres. It all started with Thrice. They made me this way.
On a totally unrelated note, I picked up some Worship Music the other day. It be the good stuff.

Not much else so far, Atari. I dig some older Metallica here and there. I remember listening to a few things that you reviewed thrash-wise a while back, but nothing stood out to me like Anthrax did with STD.

I hear you. Spreading The Disease is probably my favorite anthrax album.

The closing song is fantastic. Shane and Lights' vocals really go well together. A Great Fire is also a great song.

I think my first album purchase was the soundtrack to the first Mortal Kombat movie, ha ha.
A Great Fire and Vices be my faves on this still. I prefer screamy Shane, tho.

Suuuurrrrre, it was....
I believe you. I'm pretty sure I had one of the boy bands albums when I was younger, and probably a Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears album, too. I didn't know any better when I was a kid tho. That was what got played on the radio/TV, and the internet wasn't exactly there to pick up the slack for me.
You let me down internet.

Never was a fan of her. What about an album you owned as a youngun that you still actually really like?
I think mine is a Thrice (Illusion of Safety) or a Rise Against (RPM) album. Or Slick Shoes and Autopilot Off. I think those all came out around the same time and I still really like all of them.
|
| |
well i still like that alanis morisette album lmao
no doubt - tragic kingdom was from around that time too and i still love it same with third eye blind
