This album was so badly average.
I loved Incubus, but this was the beginning of the end. Dirk Lance was Incubus.

Ah, much better than I remembered. I forgot how much I loved incubus, and this is one of their worst imo. I need to give Make Yourself and SCIENCE another listen now, both I consider their magnum opuses.
I'd say my top five for this album are:
1 Sick Sad Little World
2 Megalomaniac
3 Leech
4 Pistola
5 Priceless
Zee Deevel and Smile Lines would be 6th and 7th respectively.This Message Edited On 09.10.07

nice job, I generally liked this one as well, prolly a 3.5 for me, helped define a different approach to the band's sound. Definitely a little darker than the previous works tho. My major beer with this record is the production, something about it seems muddled, and Boyd's vocals sound sorta off or something here. Still a lot of enjoyable moments on his end tho.

Not their best but still has great moments. "Beware Criminal," "Sick Sad Little World," and "Megalomaniac" all rule.

Wow I'm really surprised at the love for this album here, it killed Incubus for me. I just can't listen to it. The old bass player was a lot better and it really seems like they ran short of ideas on this record. Nowhere near as good as anything they released before this.
