I really love all the songs with a harder edge, all up to "This is your life". But the sudden swing over to the bright and catchy songs kinda kills it for me so far.
Maybe it needs some more time to sink in though

Allmusic.com's review of this is such an epic bag of failure it boggles the mind. They mentioned 'emo' like five times! Do any of them have a single clue about the music they listen to?

Some cool little tidbits:
- "Tertium Non Datur" is a reworked cover of Giant Sons' (The Beaver's old band) "Repairing The Damaged Beard"
- The intro to "The Banger's Embrace" is a clip from the beginning of "The Awakening" off of Sacrifice's 1986 album Torment In Fire (the song itself is about Propagandhi driving 400 miles to see their reunion show in 2006)
I really love all the songs with a harder edge, all up to "This is your life". But the sudden swing over to the bright and catchy songs kinda kills it for me so far.
The only really happy/major key song I hear is "The Banger's Embrace", and maybe some of "Potemkin City Limits". The rest, especially "Incalcuable Effects", are pretty depressing IMO. This Message Edited On 03.19.09

I've been listening to Dear Coach's Corner like crazy. It's so awesome. This whole fuckin' album is awesome. It's gettin' pretty close to a 5...

Whole album is awesome for sure. Haven't found a bad song. Right now, I can't stop listening to Tertium Non Datur and Human(e) Meat. The end of the second just destroys.

Really good album, but I think Potemkin edges it.

"with sharp riffing of "Tertium Non Datur" calming down into an acoustic lull before breaking out into a conservative’s heart attack of: ‘All they can see, are rigid dichotomies/of the sacred and the profane/salvation ashamed… well f'uck all infantry!’ " - from the review
it's 'fuck all in between'.
i really, really like this album, probably listened to it close to 50 times now. not a single weak song. it took me longer to get into last will and testament, but now i love it.

I can't stand the vocals. They suck azz

If your definition of suck azz is tuneful, aggressive, and distinct...

Vocalist destroys any chance of me giving this album anything higher then a 3.5
