i agree with metallicaman8, some of the songs are TOO DAMN REPTATIVE, although they are all very catchy. This might be the best metal CD ever released IMO.

Holier than Though is all right. I always thought of it as a filler in between Sad but True and The Unforgiven. I agree with Mudvaynian, but the God That Failed and Misery loves Company rule

i can see where you are coming from then mudvaynian, i just thought you meant to say they were horrible. but they aren't

if somebody said these songs were horrible, it would be close to an act of blasphemy, if you catch my drift

Let me respond to a bunch of blabber on the previos page.

I never said the Black album was nu-metal. I said it was when they began slowing down and turning into nu-metal which is exactly what St. Anger is.

Also, I am well aware that food contains no water. I said FAST FOOD SODA you dumba**.

Also about sayng MoP is the best, you exagerated about the Black album being the best, and i exagerated about MoP, so pull your sausage out of your butt and put it in your mouth to clog all the s*** your spewing.

Dude, the best part of the album is the second half, the first half is quite boring, except for a couple of songs (Holier Than Thou, The Unforgiven and Wherever i may Roam) the other ones are just ok songs

it's very close to nu-metal. there is no guitar solo's, the drums beats sound the same (except on St. Anger-song) the production on that CD is horrible compared to other stuff metallica has put out

I agree with most of that, but production has little to do with Nu-Metal. Anyway, while this may not be full-blown Korn-esque Nu-Metal, it's very, very close. Lest we forget the down-tuned Drop-D guitars?

Believe it or not I thought this album was better than MOP and RTL. It really has a couple great ballads on it. After this though, Metallica turned to straight crap.
