yeah I think I read somewhere that he stayed up all night listening to maggot brain on repeat and then recorded before the beginning as a tribute/homage or whatever

ripoff or not it's a ripping track

Not too bad lol, coming up to my prelims at school so stressing hard but it's alright. Bit of a tangent here but been jamming the Floyd members' solo albums recently, so fucking good.

Thanks for the support dude. Yeah Syd's first one is great but his second was a bit meh. On an Island's a hard grower, gets better with every listen. Roger's second one was shit but the first is great and the third is fantastic, and he's done some good stuff with singles recently as well. Rick actually did have two solo albums, Wet Dream and Broken China, you should check them man.

Yeah I have my qualms with Roger for sure but he is one of the best lyricists there is, and he can write a bangin tune when he tries. In recent years I've found his voice way more likeable, his age has given him this sort of deep clever inflection that really suits his lyrics. If you get time, check the Kill the Child/Leaving Beirut single he did a couple years back, great stuff.
