It was hardly vain. You should learn to patch that up when you have company.

go ahead, while you're at trying to come across as an internet tough guy with an iq of 230, you should go ahead and quote Leaves of Grass.

I don't make connotations to my toughness, and I don't believe that IQ is the best way to judge somebodies intelligence.

and yet you obviously do because you try to make your grammar and spelling perfect while putting other people down for having differing opinions. its pretty funny really.

I don't understand why you think that, and I don't understand why my grammar and spelling have anything to do with this. When you yourself express your opinion in arguments that deal with a differing opinion, whether that particular opinion is aggressively exemplified or not, ridicule is a prominent tool for you. Nothing even close to your level of poking-fun is present in anything that I've previously said, in every single post that I've read from you there is at least a hint of teasing.

i ALMOST did that. haha

Its extremely sad that you can't admit your shortcomings, and say I'm doing something more than you are, when you can't seem to say anything without doing that, literally anything at all. You have a superiority complex and you don't even know it.

What is this non-lame persona that I should be striving for and why does it take pride in uneducated elitism? These insults are trivial.

Your argument showed only that you truly do not know the genre and that you only listen to the
generic crap thrown out there by label like Victory. You did not bring forth any proof except for
distortion and the apparent lack of rhythm which means a lack of creativity. Both sides are being
stupid, as Chan just mentioned (when we should be golfing) and the insults just add fuel for both
sides.
And Mathcore is just a sub-subgenre of Metalcore. They aren't two separate entities. This Message Edited On 01.22.09

I'm not familiar with Victory bands, the only one I can name off the top of my head is TBS and they aren't exactly a Core band. But I have actually explained my distaste and its largely on account of the linear aspects of the genre, to summarize. Your talking about distortion and rhythm out of the context that I was using which is more specific.
