Yeah 3.5 is a fair rating for hot fuss. Whichever of the first two albums you like more tis fair to say this band is slowly going downhill.

I haven't heard hot fuss, apart from the singles which are excellent, but I have everything else by the killers. from what I've heard this > sams town > sawdust. This is pretty good, and fairly consistant. sams town has some amazing songs but the second half is dull imo. sawdust is pretty bad, though it's not a proper album.This Message Edited On 01.27.09

I've been meaning to buy a Killers album for a long time now, seeing as how I've listened to them a lot on last.fm, but I'm not sure which one I should buy. It's between either Hot Fuss or this. The closing track on this album is pretty awesome.

If you don't like this, just listen to Hot Fuss, its so much better. I used to think this was better than Sam's Town but now I'm not so sure.
