I'm listening to the album again now, I've never enjoyed this one too much, and I still feel the same about it thus far. It's not the best post-Pierced album imo, I prefer the self-titled to this.
Edit - I'm listening to this one again, sorry I misread your comment. I'm gonna be jamming all the albums again in the build up to the new one, so I'll hear Blood Oath again soon

Perhaps my view on Blood Oath will change upon listening to it again : ) When I say mediocrity, I mean by no means are Suffocation underwhelming or anything, just that most of their post Pierced material slots into that niche of just "there". I have no desire to revisit much of it due to how good their earliest works are, but songs like the title track here and As Grace Descends from Pinnacle have me come back occasionally : )
