he can't have this album being the 3rd best release OF ALL TIMES
I'm not Dfel, fuck off
he would buy it just to give it a 1 probably
I won't buy it. Would be a waste of money considering how much I like Colors. Hence why I'm not rating this, because I don't own it.
edit: lol spelt the album title as "colours" now that's how british I amThis Message Edited On 10.23.08

I wasn't talking about the plastic. I was talking about the art.
I just tend to jibbajabba for way too long and forget my point. if the art on the CD and DVD itself combined with the art of the little booklet is awesome. It's the cheap ass spindle that breaks easily that looks really really cool if it's not broken.
it looks cool. even if it feels like it'll break. all simplistic and stuff. it's totally new feeling
if you don't understand what I mean, then you don't smoke enough weed.

I think its very laughable that this would be the 3rd highest rated album of all time in this site's records. Very strange because its a live album and I can think of at least two other live metal albums that can blow this one out of the water.

Like those rankings really mean anything.

Iron Maiden - Live After Death is a fucking epic concert there. And the DVD is great too.
Iced Earth - Live in Athens is also superb.
Pantera - Live: 101 Proof Is also good and a contender for a great metal live album.

People try to say Tommy's screams are robot-like and boring, but Mikael from Opeth has the most repetitive scream of all time.
Seriously, he never fucking varies. EVER.

well but the thing is with opeth's vocalist, i aint no opeth fanboy or n e thing, it is that opeth's vocalist is much better where tommy's harsh can get annoying

Yeah man when I think BTBAM the first thing that comes to my head is "needs more Opeth"
|

when I read BTBAM the first thing that comes to mind is "needs more good vocals" :o

Thor - Haha! Nice one.
BTBAM have some of the most annoying vocals outside of Atreyu that I've ever had the displeasure of hearing. Hence I can't see myself giving this album more than a 3, a 3.5 only if it was otherwise nearly flawless.

Oh, and why should it matter if Iron Maiden release a live album every other week? They're one of the best live bands around, so really there's no reason to hate them for it.

Alive in Athens - Iced Earth is such a great live album. The crap that Matt Barlow says before some of the songs is so hilarious...he takes those songs so seriously and just sounds ridiculous explaining their meanings..."this next one is about two lost souls who could not be together in life...but have found eachother...in DEATH!" ..that will never get old.
But yea this is a great live album as well.
