Animals I like this comment of yours from a couple pages back, and now having full knowledge of all these artists can say I agree:
"this album is like a sexy fusion of David Sylvian, Talk Talk, Stereolab, even a little Portishead, all rolled into a Bark Psychosis burrito, and ends up sounding like its own totally original piece of work."
I still prefer Hex, but it's close. Independency is excellent too.

I really do like Hex. Some incredible tracks. I haven’t heard Independency but everyone has been talking about that one lately, so I’ll have to jam. I didn’t even know about it’s existence until just this year.
