Boo. Phil >>>> Howard.

It would have been better if the rest of KSE chose him instead of Howard after Jesse left.

Then All That Remains wouldn't exist, and I can't have that.

Ok, in this ideal world, Phil leaves KSE after ADD, forms ATR, and releases The Fall of Ideals this year.

Eh, only half the songs on that really kept my attention.

Oh well, what's done is done in the timeline. Anyway, Howard fits with his band's songs, no matter how somewhat generic the last album was and how bad the new self-titled will be.

i hear Two Weeks on the radio all the time at work. even though the album is so mediocre, it's still a sweet tune. much better than pretty much any other "metal" that's popular on rock radio.

I understand now completely what you mean by a "cover band". The songs are pretty good stand alone, but as a whole, the album just seems so over-produced. It just doesn't have the heart and feeling behind it that The Fall of Ideals did. Still very talented musicians, I'm glad Phil left Shadows Fall, I think he is much better for it.

Yeah a few are good and some nice solos throughout. Not nearly as consistent as Fall of Ideals

It was weaker than The Fall of Ideals, but not a bad album.

Favorite Tracks: Two Weeks, Forever in Your Hands, Days Witout, A Song For The Hopeless, Do Not Obey, Overcome, cover of Nevermore's Believe in Nothing.
