If only they brought back the old vocalist just to redo those songs

Tbh I think the whole point was to have the new vocalist on the old songs.

Yeah the new singer needs to chill out on the new tracks. After listening to the this EP for a while, I now feel the remakes are pretty stupid. They're done better on this and I even like the production more. Fingers Like Daggers is so fucking chill on this, I absolutely hate the vocals on the new one in comparison

I just like how it sounds. It's a break from everything that's produced to hell and back. Kinda like Bloc said I just think the older versions have a little more charm. My main beef is with Fingers Like Daggers though

I think its that they were fan favorites and that the production sucked ass but I learned to appreciate the originals more, heh
I found the original version of Fingers Like Daggers, the version before the one on this album. It rules and the vocals sound more intimate in a way and the intro rules so fucking hard

As long as they keep the Flaminco guitar in the beginning I'm good haha. The new version drowns it out somehow. And the delayed guitar part behind it doesn't sound as good as the old version.

overall its just so much tighter and heavier like this genre should be though. the versions on here aint bad but the production just sounds really empty sometimes

And they don't even do the sweeps/tapping(?) in the breakdown 1:53 - 2:27, It's not like that's a huge deal ofc but that shit was cool. Why do away with it

It never bothered me too much. As long as the riffs rule I am happy.
