Review is really good but the album isn't as great as you make it out to be. More a 4 for me. I love the lyrics though.

I gotta say im very disappointed with this...this isn't because i don't like the whole thing, it's because Practice Absence is so good it really just shits all over everything else here, which feels pretty mediocre...the bass is the only other thing that really keeps me listening...hrmmm

Everything Explicit is just as good as Practice Absence IMO. The female vocals are a plus though. But the first track, Everything Explicit and Practice Absence I think really make this album into at least a 3/5 and that isn't even the whole album.

yea, everything explicit would be my second but practice absence is the only song id ever seek out and listen to again, other than the fact that im still waiting for this to maybe click...this has led zeppelin IV syndrome, where there's one truly perfect song and the rest (mediocre at best songs) get a pass because the one is there

I don't know about the rest of the album being mediocre. Neologist is a very exciting song, it really keeps me on the edge of my seat. Some Blood has excellent guitar work and the vocals are so dreary but in a good way. Everything Explicit has such a great opening bass line. And this album makes really awesome trippy shapes on Windows Media Player.
