Used to absolutely hate this when it came out but it's okay nowadays. Vocals are still horrendous tho obviously

definitely their most unique sounding album of the 00s, I like it more every time I jam it, even 14 years after release.

This still qualifies as a nostalgia album in their catalogue for me, everything from TJR -> ASoP.

Yeah same. this was the first album they released after I became a fan, actually. Pretty fond memories.

The absolute same for me, Take This Life videoclip was my introduction to them, i didn't like it that much but they clicked later big time, my favorite band for many years to come

"this album has a good Sense of Identity"
yeah pretty much all the songs here (except chosen pessimist) kinda follow the same formula and the production makes them even more similar
as a result i think this is a weaker album compared to their earlier stuff bc nothing really stands out as career highlights BUT that's also what makes this their most replayable album to me and easiest to sit through entirely even the 15 track mirror's truth edition
