Liked "Hot and Cold" but "I kissed a girl" was just irritating.

The problem with this album is that some of the songs ARE catchy......but the lyrics remind me of being in third grade again. Almost every line is either about how girls are better than boys, or about how Katy Perry is better than YOU.

Katy Perry's "I kissed a girl" isnt a cover of Jill Sobule's "I kissed a girl" from 1995, its a completely different song. What's odd is that some radio stations in TN, for the jill sobule one, had a warning about the song's content before it aired. O how times change.

Both I kissed a girl and Hot N Cold are catchy, but the rest, i simply cannot stand.

Yeah, the new single - the title track - is pretty lame and flat.
