I dig the hidden track in Yes, very soothing.

From what I've heard off the album, I'm loving the new direction and sounds.

Viva La Vida & Violet Hill are definetely two of my favourite songs of 08 so far.

Finally got around to listening to this, and it's much better than the previous stuff I heard from Coldplay.

This'll be a grower for sure. Good stuff.

I continue to watch this rating drop slowly but surely...it needs to stop and rise above a four again. This is Coldplay's best album, for sure!

Hmm...a little tweak on that, and:

Pretty great album--and it definitely came out of nowhere.

I really love Martin's baritone voice on "Yes". He got very good at using his voice even more effectively with songs like "Violet Hill" and "Viva La Vida".

Excellent review.

This album is great! I like Coldplay, and X&Y wasn't bad. Their other previous albums I couldn't stand, though. Anyway, neat review.

True, but I think "Lovers in Japan" might be my favorite.

Much as I like them,I still think Coldplay are a little overrated, but this is their best work so far in my opinion.
