Rules. I prefer the next 2 albums so far though (whatever they're called, I'm lazy). This one seems to be a little more relaxed & the keyboard work is even more prominent.

They started working in black metal more prominently after this one (which I love), but this is still absolute top-shelf material.

This is like my 5th fav Moonsorrow but yeah it rules hard.

Yeah I love this too, just noticed it's a fair bit different to what followed it. Interesting band.

I'm amazed at their consistency. Only got heavily into this band recently and everything bar their first demo has been amazing so far (even the demo was quite enjoyable).

indeed, Metsä is probably their worst release. Their second demo rules hard though, up there with my fav Moonsorrow.

Is this not on Spotify? They seem to have everything else in their discog besides this.

I love how these guys are humble in interviews saying there is nothing original in their music (slightly joking) because they just copied bathory, enslaved and emperor lol.
This is infinitely replayable btw. Jumalten Kaupunki is 11/10 music.

Improvement on ‘Voimasta’, can see bump potential. Love the less obvious progressions here. The next two are where it’s at though.
