all you people that complain about a band selling out...are gay. who cares if a band is popular...it doesnt always change there music. sure...avenged sevenfold are sellouts...but it dont mean they arent great musicians.
the guitarists play some mad stuff. the drummer is also insane. i miss the old vocals...but what can you do. i love the old albums. this one dissapointed me alot in vocals. the throat surgery must have sucked...and i dont blame matt for stopping screaming.
id be interested to see that outburn interview.

yes...they have sold out, but it doesnt make them not a good band. as you no from my first comment...i cant stand when people stop liking a band cause there not underground any more. the guitarists and drummer are great musicians. there old cds were awesome...im just not a fan of the new singing.

Trashy mainstream crap? Synyster Gates horrid? Sounds a little bias... and how could you possibly say that a guitarist could be considered decent by the way he dresses? Im sick of people basing how good people are off of the way they dress. Synyster Gates is a great guitarist but by no means do i consider him amazing, but to say his skills might appeal to you if he dressed better is bullshit. Perhaps you dont like the image of the band, but people who are mature enough can look past that to find that theyre great musicians

I agree with the whole vocal deal. Music-wise the album rocks. I play guitar and love the guitars in all of their songs. That's what always catches my attention. However the vocals sound a bit whiney. I understand he had throat surgery, and I thinks it's great it didn't stop him altogether. I just hope he can bring back that power and energy in his screaming. To me that was a highlight vocal-wise.

I think it's great, but it's very very different. They wen't from being full metalcore, to being part metalcore but mostly metal, to now progressive Power Metal (oMg Wtf tHats not a GeNre u dum n00b), so it's very different.

Musically, yes, everyone in the band stands out and showcases their talent to their potential in this album, and I seriously really enjoy this album, me being a fan of a wide variety of music. But then again, WTF was so much better than this, as much as i like this album it just doesnt compare to their other work.
