This album is so underrated. I finally listened to Mercyful Fate's album Melissa which made the medley of their songs so much better.

That's what I thought 15 years ago but I would suggest to listen more closely. Melissa is one of the best ever.

Yea I didnt mean the medley is better than Melissa. I just meant hearing the album made the medley seem even cooler. I think both are great. Obviously Metallica's version had better production and I didnt grow up on Mercyful Fate, but I dig it all.

I would like this album more if all the songs they covered were recorded before 1992. Can't listen to disc 1 at all. Am I Evil and Breadfan are my favorites.

Mercyful fate medley is awesome

The instruments in that song are kickass, but I can't stand his singing at all.
