Remaster out now on Spotify. Vinyl in the mail. Brilliant remaster for the best melodic punk album of all time!

the only reason it's not a 5 is because the drums sound like absolute ass on the original

Man the remaster is a HUGE improvement over the original, the drums finally sound good and imo it absolutely cements EIO as their best record

Twisted by Design was always my favorite strung out but the remaster really did this one justice. Listening to this today has been fun, bumpin up .5 points

The drums are just perfection. Shows how much the original production butchered them! Interesting to see Jordan even came back to assist with this.

The massive improvement on the drum production really comes through in songs like Never Speak Again and Lucifermotorcade. Some of Jordans best work by far, the modern iteration of Strung Out suffers greatly without his influence on the songwriting and composition (even more with Jake gone too). This era (TBD through EIO) was really their golden period, every album after was them trying to recapture and chase the magic and perfect synthesis of hooks, riffs, songs and quality that they achieved on this, imo.

yeah the remaster blew my fucking mind. don't know if this dethrones Career Suicide for best '00s punk record for me, but it sure as hell beats Ruiner and Potemkin City Limits.

i think it supplanted career suicide for my favorite shred punk album (this, career suicide, and supporting caste are my holy trinity)
