That’s quite a generalized statement tbh. I guess to some extend it depends on when and where you encounter a band in the first place if and how much you enjoy them. When Purple came out it instantly appealed to me way more than any Nirvana album ever could. For me STP, Soundgarden and Alice In Chains are absolutely in the same league. I need to get more into Pearl Jam first but they could be up there too in the long run.

Army Ants is awesome, one of my favs. And the outro is just hilarious, such a great way to end an album. Have to smile every time I hear it :]
