Definately Animals > DSOTF.

I love this album.

Hmmm. Better than DSOTM? Well, that's completely subjective of course, but to me they're too different to be compared. In fact, Animals is quite different to any other Floyd album.

You know, debating over Pink Floyd's best album is like a broken pencil - pointless.

Favorite album of all time. the only qualm i have with it is that you have to commit yourself to it for a listen because the main songs are so long and the acoustics, in my opinion, are only really good when combined with the core three.

Good review, though I wish you went into more of a detail about what Pigs, Dogs, and Sheep represent to the people who don't know.

I love this album with a passion, everything on it is listenable.

Great job with your review. Your review really does this album justice. I think it's a crime and a damn shame that this album is so overlooked, and is forced to stay in the spotlight of its commercial, overrated brother, The Dark Side of the Moon, when in my eyes, it takes the elements of that album, and improves on them in a completely different way.

This is without a doubt, Roger's lyrical peak in my mind, and David's guitar playing peak. Animals is unlike any other Floyd you'll ever come across, and that's why I love it.

i like the album 'wish you were here' the most, mainly because of the song 'have a cigar' which is on it. that song is unbeatable. the guitar and lyrics are brilliant. This Message Edited On 03.19.06

being a young floyd fan (14 years old). i don't like the album 'animals' because it brings back memories. (how can it i was born in 1992) i just love the songs on the album especially 'pigs'
