here's a thought that applies to both NOFX's The Decline and Converge's Jane Doe: these records are better than anything else those bands have ever done by an absurd margin. like they're so good that it's uncharacteristic of those bands; almost makes you ask "wait did they really make this? no seriously. they didnt get a ghostwriter for this shit?" i love NOFX's other records and Converge's other records but again, The Decline and Jane Doe are just soooooo far ahead of everything else they've ever done
