This is the only Deathcore band that i like. All the rest suck. JFAC used to suck when they played Deathcore. Now they have the honor of being one of the worst Death Metal bands around.

id say jfac are better as death metal than deathcore...they got rid of of the stupid scooby doo vocals, or "brees" as most people call them...

while they're still a shitty group, i still think they are a lot better than this group.

that's just my opinion though...and i respect yours.

...and i think cattle decapitation may be one of the worst death metal groups ever.

I have one album by Cattle Decapitation. Never heard any others and i think one might be enough. Its decent, but nothing that makes me want to hear more.

I really don't think this deserves all the negative comments. Sure they aren't bringing anything new to the charts, but I really liked this and their recent album "The Cleansing". If you're not a fan of breakdowns, I'd stay away.

a lot of people on this site dont like overused breakdowns or poorly placed ones so thats where all the negative comments will stem from, or the fact that most people dont like his vocals

Great review. Pretty much sums up the album really well. I was basically obsessed with this album when i first heard it only because i had never heard anything this heavy or brutal. But now that i've listened to more music this album is good but not the greatest.

i agree, the scene is completely over saturated with bands that cant seem to find originality anywhere, although i do still like the deathcore bands that i first got into before the entire scene got pretty much ruined

Job for a Cowboy's first album was a lot better than the new one. At least before they were unique in a little way, now they're generic as all hell.

people write the whole band off almost

but with such an oversaturated genre i cant say i blame them
