Album Rating: 2.5 | Sound Off
This album actually has some riffs and genuine cool moments sprinkled around it. Reload is just 76 minutes of unused backwash from Load, save maybe 3 songs. St Anger at least has character and a certain flare and identity to it, whereas Reload is just a banal void comprised 90% of mediocre filler. At least St Anger is badass and awesome at times, whereas Reload is consistently boring and uninspired.

this at least has that garage band heavy riffing sense of fun to it. I've never listened to the Loads records and I don't really care ever to.

When this album came out, my friends and I started putting horrible shit that we never wanted to talk about ever again (be it an event, a movie, etc) on the "St. Anger list." We still say "put it on the St. Anger list" when we unanimously agree that 'that shit never happened.'

Finally watched Some Kind of Monster. It's amazing how so much work, turmoil, money and talent resulted in something so utterly shit.
