One of the most important doom metal bands ever and one of the best. A superb debut that features some amazingly well-paced composition.
Also, lol at anyone who says that Lowe's vocals are a drawback.

Nice bump. I love Horizon and Darkest Hour, damn those are amazing albums.
Alone was good, but Adagio and Downfall never captured me.
Edit: After reading this thread I see this point has been made about +10 times.
Also there's something nice about a +10 year old review.

Not for me. I liked Alone a lot more.
I basically never heard Adagio.

Thanks. It actually feels really good to have an unheard SA album.
I guess I just heard Horizon and Depths so much I didn't need more.

I'm peeping this for the first time and OMFG Dream of Immortality is way too quality. I had to send that song to a friend before I had even finished it because I was digging it so mf hard. I'm loving this

@Pika yeah this has a very similar feeling but is distinct in it's own atmosphere that it creates, most of that due to Rob's vocals and some of the effects used.
@Source I'm going to give this a few more spins before I move om but I'm definitely excited to hear more
