I'm not actually a huge fan of the vocals on MAYH. Not as much as the albums before and after anyway
It feels like kind of a transitioning album for his vocals and so they don't feel as developed as on other albums.

They might not be that raw but I think Still Life has the perfect equilibrium between lyrical/raw singing, also they benefit from a wonderful production that makes them sound even better imo. I think Morningrise comes close in vocal performance too.
