An ambitious and ferocious way of introducing the band's career, with a victoriously anthemic 'Amon Amarth' and purely belligerent 'Victorious March'-this album just doesn't let up at all, battering riff after heavy riff with so much vengeance.

This is their best album IMHO. I'm always impressed with the drumming of Martin Lopez. The tone is very black metally, kind of lo-fi with lots of Atomosphere (Swedish accent). I think as they progressed, their albums from Fate of Norms on lacked creativity and passion. Once Sent definitely scratches my Viking itch.

you think they lacked creativity from Fate of Norns on? theyve used the exact same formula since their first album, they never were creative. the only thing theyve ever changed is the tempo on Fate of Norns.

lol@calling it a boring album and then rating all of the discography. Why would you listen to everything else by the band if you hate one thing? People these days.
