this band's "shitty" phase (even tho i don't consider it actually shitty) and whatever in flames have been doing all this time are nowhere near each other in terms of quality

I remember a long time ago, being in college, when this record dropped and being that I found Stabbing the Drama to be one of the best records of the last 25 years, I had a feeling they were going to disappoint with the follow-up. Somehow, some way, they managed to match the beauty and incredibility of Stabbing the Drama. The first time I heard Breeding Thorns, I was mesmerized, as well as 20 More Miles. Those 2 albums were the best by far by Soilwork and can remember the exact day and moments when this record dropped. I was living with a couple of guys and we hung outside the record store for it to open so we could get our copies of the record. Top to bottom, just like Stabbing the Drama, this album was fucking magical. I really wish they would make another album just like it. I miss the old, good Soilwork.

This album is kind of awkward but I have some nostalgia for it. T/T, Breeding Thorns, Your Beloved Scapegoat and Light Discovering Dark go pretty hard.
