Top tier Paysage:
Winterkaelte
Im wald
Self-titled
Kerker
Kristall und Isa
(For some crazy reason I've never heard Das Tor - only record I haven't listened to in the discog - so maybe that should be here too.)

It should. I'd put Steineiche in that group too, perhaps over Kerker.

Man I fucking love steineiche too. Heavy, crushing, and terrifying

I enjoy how it starts as super caustic black metal and steadily devolves into dungeon synth, as if some raging spirit is slowly succumbing to a shadowy forest.

Ditto DooRight, this >>> s/t.

on second thought I can totally see that. I love the violin, clean guitars, and choirs on the s/t, but Steineiche is a massive journey. also, s/t vocals are kinda...froggy.

idk this has a weird mono-sounding mix that narrows the soundscape. might be intentional but I find it somewhat less immersive than Winterkalte.
