Ah dude don't get to that level where you fear taking a guitar out of the case because it's so expensive. The shit's meant to be played.

My most expensive guitar is an Aristides from The Netherlands. It's my "metal" guitar and because I live in Canada that thing cost me quite a bit in the end. I baby all my guitars and don't gig or whatever so I play it all the time.

That M1 is a fuckin metal machine. Single EMG pickup right? And you'll get good money for the Les Paul, their value never seems to drop as much as other guitars.

The Rammstein guitar was a shock to hear though, didn't know you were an obsessive psychotic Rammstein fanboy. I can't imagine what would happen if there was a Martin Gore signature out there

"I dont want to scratch it up"

Yeah that would suck. Imagine Stevie playing on a guitar with 2% paint left on it.

That was the entire point of why he played what he played. Beat up old body with a perfect neck and frets always. But not showing off, more like "oh this old thing? watch what it do..."

as I said I throw my fender around the room and dont care if it gets bashed. I think they look sexier with some marks. the les paul I have is actually pretty damn rare and its in perfect condition. it would lose a ton of value if it got scratched

I really want to do more to mine, but I wouldnt feel comfortable knowing it was forced, i just want it to naturally look like i dragged it down a railroad track for 70 miles just from playing it and wear and tear

Yeah just let it come naturally. Might take a lot longer but it'll be worth it
