Tribestros linked this review on the In Rainbows wikipedia. Ugh, you're not supposed to do that. Ugh.

I mean, if somebody else links your review on Wikipedia, that's cool. Linking your own? Narcissistic. NARCISSISTIC, I SAY!

I'm calling shenanigans.

Also can a brotha get a "Staff Pick" for this album because their must be at least one staff member who rightly feels that this is one of the best of '07This Message Edited On 10.11.07

Though it is good reviw, it shouldn't be in the professional review section of the wikipedia page. This is a user run site. This Message Edited On 10.11.07

Flawed is reviewing the album as a whole.

Though it is good it's shouldn't be in the professional review of wikipedia.

Yeah, they werent allowing Sputnik reviews at all on the site until we said we'd only link to the Staff ones. That's why I jokingly posted that

In Rainbows is a very dark, stripped-down album, feeling a lot like OK Computer, just much, much darker, frazzling, and chaotic.

All this talk about In Rainbows sounding like a darker, barren OK Computer is a far exaggeration...In Rainbows is just something, quite simply, that we've never heard from Radiohead, because while it is a lot like a darker OK Computer, there's too many differences in this album to actually call it that.

proof-read.

don't continuously contradict yourself.

make the review flow.

you rushed way too much on this review.

Reckoner, Jigsaw Falling Into Place and Videotape are my favourites.

This review should have been shorter, half of it is just the same thing over and over again. You hardly talked about any of the tracks. FIX IT.

I found the review at times cliché ridden and without much substance.

The conclusion could be quite good, but it tends to overdo it. It is easy to see you love the album and Radiohead, or at least that is my perception. But you could perhaps be less over-exuberant, every sentence does not have to capture the essence of why the album is so great. Instead try to lead into a final sentence or two that really captures the essence album with a bang.

Plus a few grammatical screws need to be tightened here and there, a few sentences reworded slightly, but that is not much of a problem.

Are you an idiot? This album without a doubt is stemmed from OK Computer. If I had to, I could relate almost every song on the new album to one from OK Computer. It has the same sounds to it.

yes i am idiot forgive me?1!

So it's guitars again? I dunno, I think Radiohead were best when they were all over the computer stuff and those weird instruments. But whatever.

As some others, already pointed out, your review is a bit hyperbole, but otherwise good.

The review does seem a bit rushed
and you mention the older albums too much as opposed to talking about the sound on it's own
The only Radiohead songs I know are Karma Police and Electioneering, will I like this album?

I agree, Radiohead were best in Kid A/Amnesiac era...

@Pyramid: Yeah, you'll like it...very deep and dark like Karma Police, but stretched into a full album.

Good review overall. I've listened to this twice now and it's not really grabbing my attention in any way. I'll need to listen to it some more and see how it goes.
