I still don't understand why everyone enjoys Last Of The Wilds so much. It's a novel idea, but it's killed in execution. It should have stayed more traditional. Especially now since they released it as a new single with vocals by Jonsu (forget what band she's in); the vocals on that track are absolutely laughable.
Sahara's grown on me since we saw them live, though...the orchestration is great, and it comes across great as a live tune. As for the rest, they're still about the same.

The melody is one of the best things Nightwish has done. I think it gets a tad repetitive, but it's so good that it's ok.
As for the vocals for the single....WTF?? They are absolutely horrible and kill the song.

No, I'm just not sure if it's a classic rating. It's really good and I really enjoy the songs but I've stopped listening to this as much as I used to when it came out.

I have stopped listening to this a lot as well. I think listening to it from late June (when it was leaked) to the beginning of this year has worn it out on me a bit. I still love this album and will keep my rating, but I think I needed a break from it, and that is what I am doing.
Actually with all of my classic ratings on here, I hardly listen to them much anymore, but that isn't going to lower my ratings for them.

Especially her super creepy fans. My biggest problem with Nightwish and Tarja has always been the fans, as is the case for most female-fronted bands.

lol Balls, it's not all together, it's Poet and the Pendulum. That song is a song I think Tarja would have had trouble with singing.

I gotta be frank, this album rules. It doesn't feel like Nightwish to me anymore but nonetheless solid album. Poet And The Pendulum has quickly become one of my favorite songs.

Those are fighting words buddy, justkidding. Plenty of people aren't really open towards this band so I'm not suprised but none the less, Nightwish rules. Last Of The Wilds is phenominal.
