mmmmmmmm yes it is

this album reminds me of these long bike rides I used to take through the really shit parts of newark, i'd listen to this and it provided a really desolate, creepy soundtrack.

Of course. Rodan - Rusty is as well. It's only on everyones "backlook" that this seems post-rock.

I know you're gonna hate me but I don't really like Rusty... and ok, thanks! Anyone else care to share?...

Indie is a pretty broad word and almost anything seems to fit into it these days. It barely means anything and although I love a lot of bands that would technically be pigeonholed as Indie, there are so many bands spoiling that word.

Post-Rock is a little more appropriate, at least for Slint and Talk Talk, although it's not free of guilt either!

Unfun: I concur, I think. As far as indie in general goes (incccreeeedibly broad term) I don't know if I'd include Talk Talk or Slint, but how about in the context of "90's Indie?" I think that'd fit better, maybe?

This is really just minimalist with vocals if you want to call it something.

not trying to be confrontational or argue and I'm well-aware it doesn't like change the quality of the music or anything I was just wondering how others categorize the band...

and ok, I guess that "90's" thing is just me...

idk it's not all that post-rockish as it's made out to be, though its influence is obvious.
