there best album, sadly thats not hard to do. "Doomsday" raised this album from a 1 to a 1.5 or 2 for me. It's so revolutionary for me for them to have a GOOD song. This Message Edited On 04.06.08

That's a good one. I also liked "When To Are One". But "Blow" sucked. With lyrics like "Oh my God, lies are back in style" i see why it got bad ratings...

i find this album peculiar....what are they trying to prove?

this is the first time i've hear atreyu (first album I've listened to). and I absolutely love it. i think this review has some legitimacy, but honestly everybody has their own preference and I think many people would enjoy this album. it is currently my favorite and i can't stop listenening to it.

They got more cliche, there guitar work is worse(minus first song), their vocals are worse, the lyrics got worse, it basically made for 14 year old girls now.

i actually liked the old atreyu sound (i'm ready for the insults). i never thought they really lived up to their full potential, but i still enjoyed it.....now i dont understand what they are doing. this album was a giant leap backwards for atreyu. i dont know if you'd call this an identity crisis or what but seriously...this is like going from screamo/metalcore to pop rock....what the hell?

their vocals are worse

I find this a fairly good album. Their singer sounds less like a roaring Dinosaur and sounds more like an annoying pop punkish singer. The guitar work is fairly good in my opinion, and Brandon has good vocals. It's just about two songs really try to kill the album for me (Becoming The Bull, and that stupid Epic cover, what were they thinking when they did that seriously).

I was suprised and impressed by this record. I mean, they still suck, but they suck on a different, not so bad level.This isn't terrible, it's average. Too much filler,but songs like "Doomsday" show what Atreyu can do. Unlike Avenged Sevenfold and their new album,this sounds good at times.

What bothers me about this record (mainly referring to the message of Blow, because it seems to be their attitude) is that they have the whole "We do this for ourselves, **** critics" attitude, and they don't seem to know what quality music is and why they need to make it.

and this may be a stretch but the chorus to "Slow Burn" reminds me of a darker, dancier version of a Blink/Plus 44 song.

I liked it a while back. but I listen to it now and the vocals just annoy me. it's the nu metal crap that plagues radio and ugh it's just terrible. one time I asked my friend's sister if she ever listened to screamo and she said "yeah I listen to atreyu".
