That song is pretty decent but you really have to like the whole brutal emphasis on the vocals, that's pretty much what the whole album does, and that's probably why I only find this album decent

This album would tie Demigod, if not beat it if it had an epic like The Reign of Shemsu-Hor. I think that's the main thing missing on this album.
But it's lack of that makes it fall just below Demigod in my books.

I'm now addicted to this record. Arcana Hereticae is my favorite. Inferno is insane on this record. His drumming is strong and creative at times. The guitar work is also pretty good. Some cools solo are thrown here and here.

I think people give The Reign of Shemsu-Hor a little bit too much credit. It's a pretty good song, not the best on Demigod though. Epic doesn't=best quality, even if it's the only epic on the album.

I don't get it. The Reign of Shemsu-Hor feels like it's trying to crush me with its epicness and failing while still managing to be a decent song.
