Absolutely ridiculous album. I’m thinking this is arguably his masterwork. To create something so viscerally satisfying out of such chaotic yet ‘intellectual’ compositions, mere mortals like myself cannot comprehend, is bewildering in its brilliance. The sheer breadth and scope of this thing is astonishing. Argh. I have no more words to explain this. I don’t understand why this speaks to me but it does. Another level entirely. It has to be a 5.

I'm thinking this is his best full stop now. If you're not a completely free man (or want a more 'everyday' kinda jam), then Giant Steps would be my alternative choice.
Ascension is excellent too, but there might be as many as idk 7/8(?) of his releases I'd take over it.
